The problem I keep having is that I decide what intend to blog about next and if it’s ambitious and elaborate enough that I can’t put it together quickly, it becomes a draft that gets worked on in bits and pieces and in the meantime nothing appears on the blog. That’s what happened to my C2E2 convention report. Taking the time off to travel to Chicago for the convention meant being slammed with work upon my return, and it’s been taking longer than I’d wanted to get the report put together with all the photos and links I’d wanted to include. It’s almost done, but rather than continue to wait, I thought I’d share my newest print, based on a commission I did for a friend.
The Punisher
The Punisher is a bit of a different choice for me, but I think it turned out pretty well. The black and white version of this was a commission, and I thought I’d add color to it to make a print out of it. I’ll have that up in my Etsy store soon.

Young Justice #15
DC Comics has posted a 5-page preview of Young Justice #15, due out tomorrow, March 17. It’s the conclusion of our 2-part Atlantis storyline, written by Greg Weisman and Kevin Hopps, penciled and inked by myself, and colored by Zac Atkinson.
In last month’s Young Justice #14, Aqualad, Superboy and Miss Martian dove deep into the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.
In issue #15, Ocean-Master has kidnapped Mera. Together with Prince Orm, the Young Justice team members must figure out how to retrieve the Atlantean queen before Ocean-Master is successful in his plan of draining her of her powers and taking over the seven seas. Could this be the end of Atlantis as we know it?

Hey, did I mention I’m going to be at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo this weekend?
- I’ll be in Artists Alley (Booth E3), selling comics, original art (including pages and covers from my Young Justice series), and doing commission sketches on a first come-first served basis.
- I’ll be signing at the DC Comics booth (DCE Booth #115) Saturday from 1:00pm-2:00pm and Sunday from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
- I’ll also be on the DC Comics for Kids! panel on Sunday from Noon-1:00pm in Room S402ab.
All those times and places are based on pre-convention schedules and are subject to change. Please double-check when you arrive at the convention.
Oh, did I mention I’ll be selling prints? Check out my Etsy store for a sneak preview of what I’ll have available. All my $30 prints will be available at C2E2 for $20 each!
