This weekend I’ll be a guest at my old hometown Doctor Who convention Console Room Jan 12-14 at the Hilton MSP Airport/Mall of America Hotel in Bloomington, MN.
I’m looking forward to seeing many old friends and meeting fellow Doctor Who fans.
I’ll be doing a signing each day of the con. Signatures are free and I’ll have copies for sale of Heralds of Destruction (my 3rd Doctor comic written by Paul Cornell), Operation Volcano (my 7th Doctor comic written by Andrew Cartmel), and Once Upon a Time Lord (my 10th Doctor graphic novel written by Dan Slott). I’ll also have a selection of my 11×17 Doctor Who art prints, including two NEW pieces – the cover art from Once Upon a Time Lord and my design of a “Season 27” era console room as I had designed for Operation Volcano.
On Sunday I’ll be privileged to interview Sylvester McCoy on MainStage, so stop by to see how that goes!
Saturday morning at 10:00am I’ll be giving a visual presentation on my history with Doctor Who artwork. It’s a retrospective and also has a bit of window into my process and just some fun stories and Easter eggs. I hope some folks get up early enough on Saturday to come join me!

I am delighted to be returning as a guest to the Gallifrey One convention, February 14-16 at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel. I have a great time every year at Gallifrey One, and this is the first time I’ll be attending as a local, since moving to Los Angeles in December!
This year I will NOT have a table in the Dealers Room, but there will still be plenty of opportunities to see me and (if you are so inclined) buy my art!

I’ll be signing autographs and selling prints in the Autograph area for two hours each day of the convention. Autographs are always free and I’m happy to sign items you already own. Stop by and say hello!

If I had titled this I would have called it Doctor Who: Heralds of Destruction – Live commentary. I see actors do live commentary on their TV episodes all the time at these conventions. Why can’t I do the same for my comic book work? I’ll be talking about my creative process and sharing some behind-the-scenes stories and easter eggs from the Third Doctor mini-series I drew, based on a story by Paul Cornell!

October 5 2013 I’ll be at MCBA Fallcon, open from 10am to 5pm at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds! I’ll be talking to fans, signing autographs, doing commission sketches and selling art prints, so stop by and say hello!
Tickets are available at the door ($8 for adults, kids 9 & Under FREE). Save $1 off admission with a Canned Food Shelf donation. Free MCBA Grab Bags for the first 500 attendees. Costumes encouraged.
This year Mark Waid will be joining the creators appearing at MCBA Fallcon, so you won’t want to miss it!
I’ll have Young Justice trade paperbacks and Art Prints for sale. And I’ll have my usual convention exclusives like the ever-popular Disco Wing mini-print for fans who “like” my Facebook Page or follow me on Twitter!
Remember, at conventions I’ll have all the prints available at my Etsy Store, but at the reduced price of $20 for an 11×17 color print, plus NO SHIPPING FEE!

Hey, did I mention I’m going to be at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo this weekend?
- I’ll be in Artists Alley (Booth E3), selling comics, original art (including pages and covers from my Young Justice series), and doing commission sketches on a first come-first served basis.
- I’ll be signing at the DC Comics booth (DCE Booth #115) Saturday from 1:00pm-2:00pm and Sunday from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
- I’ll also be on the DC Comics for Kids! panel on Sunday from Noon-1:00pm in Room S402ab.
All those times and places are based on pre-convention schedules and are subject to change. Please double-check when you arrive at the convention.
Oh, did I mention I’ll be selling prints? Check out my Etsy store for a sneak preview of what I’ll have available. All my $30 prints will be available at C2E2 for $20 each! Saturday, October 15 I will be at MCBA Fallcon at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. MCBA is the Minnesota Comic Book Association and I’ve been a regular at their semi-annual convention for years. I love the volunteers who run this show and it’s really a great time, so if you’re in the Minnesota area, stop by and say hello!
