Gorillas, eh? Hopefully you’ve had enough time to recover from the trauma of drawing all those M.O.N.Q.I. droids in Issues #7 and 8. ;)

I like how the arcs are starting to alternate between having one member of the Light being the main villain (#14-15 was Ocean-Master, #16-17 looks like Kobra, #18-19 looks like The Brain). But more importantly, I hope there will be banana jokes… yeah.

Your captcha system has become very mean (hard to read) by the way.

There actually are a couple of Gorillas in #16, but yes, I was talking about this story.

There’s a little more gray on Soliver than it might appear from the headshot behind the funky lighting as seen on this cover, so wait and see what he looks like in the actual story. Greg requested that Soliver be a silverback gorilla. We’ll see what that says about Solivar’s status in the group of gorillas seen in the story…

When you twittered about Gorillas, I figured it was the Flash section of #16… guess I’ll have to wait a little longer. Brain and Grodd… probably won’t be as bloody as their last encounter in the comics.

Solovar’s white… was this inspired by the JL cartoon? He was brown with gray temples in the comics.
