The image in the corner bubble was done by DC’s production people – I’m not sure of the specific image was chosen by editor Jim Chadwick or not. I had asked to have those bubbles feature either my artwork or art from the show itself, and just when that had been fixed (for issues #12 and #13) and now as of issue #14 it seems that the new DC Nation cover format has eliminated the bubble from the design!

I had completely missed Miss M’s third arm (and shoulder). It may be in the foreground when you have a paper issue, but online (and zoomed in), you have to scroll down.

Strange, sort of related question: who decides who’s featured in the little round vignette under the DC logo on left top of the cover? Because 11 had Kid Flash, who, if memory serves, doesn’t appear in the issue. 12 has Aqualad, which is slightly more relevant. They seem to be reusing Mike Norton’s #0 artwork for it.
