Was the solicit you saw online somewhere (which site)?

The Batman and Robin pose is based on this classic pin-up by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson. http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/pinupascover.jpg
It was suggested by Greg Weisman when we were discussing the “pie wedge” format for the cover. If that had been the full cover I’d have probably name-checked Infantino and Anderson on buildings in the background, but as 1/3 of the page there just didn’t seem to be room to do it unobtrusively. As it is, I’m trusting that A) the original is plenty famous and B) that basic pose has been done dozens of times over and it’s kind of become one of the “classic” Batman and Robin poses. Another would probably be that shot with B&R framed in a spotlight! When I do a blog entry on the making of the cover, I’ll be sure to mention the inspiration!

The solicit I saw said May 16, which is more in line with what they’ve been doing in the past. So either May 30 is a mistake, or they’ve made a change and there’s contradictory info out there…
