I think Greg and company want to keep the stories focused on “The Team”, so I wouldn’t hold your breath to seeing a story showcasing the Justice League’s origins or the like. But I don’t think flashback stories are out of the question, especially ones that tell important bits of backstory of the primary characters. Time will tell…

I’d love to see solo stories as well as more issues that fill in “gaps” between episodes. (Ieecially loved seeing what went on with Artemis outside while the team was fighting inside the school. These characters and how you depict them makes YJ one of my very favorite DC series. This version of the DC Universe (as the “Diniverse” did before it) has shaped up as far more fun then the mainstream DCU. please, tell stories in ALL parts of this universe. How about a story about how this universe’s much-different Justice League formed? I can see Robin hacking into JL files and finding the real story of their mentors’ not-quite-so-perfect start as a team…

I don’t know what’s going to be in that Super Sampler yet. I know the storylines of the next six months’ worth of the Young Justice title, and while you don’t always get the full team, I think there’s never fewer than three members of the team featured in the main story of each issue. I love these characters and would be happy to keep working with them for the foreseeable future, in any setting they let me work in!

On the other hand, I dug seeing more team adventures like in the 2011 Free Comic Book Day issue and the Issue 9-10 arc.

Ideally, as a fan, you want a balance of both but at this point, I trust Weisman enough that he’s picking the stories he wants to tell among all the ones he’s probably got bouncing around in his head. That said, I’m happy to see Young Justice will get another story in the DC Nation Super Sampler that comes out on Free Comic Book Day in May.

With DC Nation starting soon, I’m really hoping a door or window might open and allow more Young Justice stories to be told in more mediums such as exclusive online mini episodes (aka webisodes) and view or download mini comics. And course, once WHV gets to the 13 episode season sets, I really hope sales does very well and the crew gets the nod for a Direct to Video movie or two or three. Hey, it’s Monday and I’m optimistic!
